Baseball Season

The last games of baseball at the Y.  It was a great season for the Tin Caps and the Tigers thanks to Coach BJ and Coach Dave.

Sam's 3rd Birthday

We celebrated Sam's third birthday at Baileywick Park!  He wanted cookie monster cupcakes so we made it the theme :)  He loved playing with friends, eating his cupcakes and opening his presents.

He is growing up too fast for me.  He is becoming such a big boy and can't believe he is not a baby anymore.  At the doctor he was 38 pounds (95%) and 40 inches (95%) our biggest three year old by 2 pounds!  Hard to believe he was so small between 4-9 months that he wasn't even on the chart, guess he showed them! 

He loves to talk and tell all kinds of stories (most that don't make any sense :)) and will do anything Thomas does.  He idolizes his big brother and copies every word and action he sees him do.  He loves to run and play outside.  He loves to eat especially peanut butter sandwiches.  

It will be fun to watch him go out on his own and head to preschool in September! 

Snow ... AGAIN!!

We have had some great snow storms this year.  Another couple days of off school means sleigh riding and playing with neighbors.  We even made a big snowman! 

SNOW!!!!

We took full advantage of the snow here in Raleigh! We spent the day outside sledding down the culdesac.  The kids couldn't believe it!! This was the first measurable snow they remember.  They loved sledding, playing with friends, making snowballs and jumping on daddy.

Brycen's 5th Birthday

We headed to Gym Carolina to celebrate Brycen's 5th Birthday.  The kids loved it and Thomas is now set on having a gym party.

Hurricanes Game

We headed to the hurricanes game with Birtzs.  The boys loved it and Thomas cheered on Ian's dad!

Halloween

Two pirates and a ghost walked down the street ... and met up with Scooby Doo and a cat!  The kids had a blast running around the neighborhood and couldn't wait to dig into the loot.  

Soccer

Another successful season of soccer! Aniela played for the Hoppers and Thomas played for the Panthers.  Dave coached them both teams.  Sammy is looking forward to playing next year!

Sandling Beach at Falls Lake

Found this gem of a beach just about in our backyard!  Katie and I took the boys up there to enjoy the last bit of warm weather.   The boys loved digging and playing around.  

Busy Day

Thomas headed to a birthday party at Lil Chef for one of his best buddies, Ian.  Dave was excited to take him as Ian's dad plays for the Hurricanes!  Eric Staal and a couple of other players were there at the party.  Later that night we had our Movie night in the neighborhood and watched Wall-E.  It was perfect weather and a fun night!
