Busy Day

Thomas headed to a birthday party at Lil Chef for one of his best buddies, Ian.  Dave was excited to take him as Ian's dad plays for the Hurricanes!  Eric Staal and a couple of other players were there at the party.  Later that night we had our Movie night in the neighborhood and watched Wall-E.  It was perfect weather and a fun night!

Birthday Dinner

We headed out to celebrate my 37th birthday a night early!  We went to a new restaurant in downtown Raleigh called Jimmy V's.  We ate outside and it was perfect as there was an outdoor bluegrass festival we were able to listen to.  The food was delicious but the atmosphere was even better!

 

Paula's Wedding

We headed to PA to celebrate my youngest cousins wedding.  The kids loved playing with their cousins and visiting Uncle Mike at the farm.  Mike rode a horse over to Dave's house to pick them up! They were thrilled!  They got to collect eggs, take a ride in the golf cart, pick apples, ride a cow and milk a cow.  They loved running free and exploring everything.  Pop taught them to play War and how to gloat when  you win!!

Daisy Troop #76

Daisy's has resumed for the year!  Such a sweet group of kids!

Holden Beach

We headed to Holden Beach with the Arwoods and Midhas for some last minute summer fun.  The kids had a blast and the weather was gorgeous.  Their favorite part was walking down the beach to the ice cream shop and eating ice cream on the beach. 

First day of Transitional K preschool

Thomas starts his Transitional K class today at St. Andrews.  He is very excited to go to school all 5 days of the week like Aniela.  He has Ms. Suzanne and Ms. Nancy as teachers.  This year he has to sign in every day.
