Happy Easter!

We woke up Easter morning and the kids were ready to go and find some eggs!  Unfortunately, Sammy had a fever and was miserable so while he sat in my lap crying the big kids went on about the hunt.  They also enjoyed opening their baskets.  The each got a pair of pj's some candy and a toy. After church, we had lunch with my sister and her family.

Sammy's 2nd Birthday Party

We celebrated Sam's 2nd birthday with lots of monkeys!  We had monkey cupcakes, banana pudding, monkey vines (Twizzlers), monkey balls and animal crackers.  Sammy had a fun time and loved opening his gifts.  He oohed and aahed over everything even each card.

Two Years Old

Sam is 2!!! Once again time has escaped me.  I don't know when it happened but my little boy is a toddler and getting so big! He weighed in at 32 pounds and is 36 inches (90% for both).  He is our biggest 2 year old and the first 2 year old I have had without a newborn around :) This is very bittersweet to write about my last little one turning 2.  Seems like such a milestone and a change from a baby to a big boy. 

Sam loves to play outside and run around.  He loves airplanes, balls and cars! He wants to do everything the big kids are doing and does a pretty good job keeping up.  His language has exploded and he talks in complete sentences and never has a problem communicating what he wants. He loves to eat especially peanut butter and jelly, black beans, and cheese.

St. Patrick's Day

Maddie stayed over and in the morning we decided to hunt for Leprechauns.  Aniela read a story about leprechauns in the basement and decided we should check our basement.  When I told her we didn't have a basement, she said yes we do, the one upstairs!  So we gathered our flashlights and they each took turns going up to look for the leprechaun.  We didn't see one, but we did find 3 gold necklaces! Their faces were priceless!!

Airport Park

We headed to airport park for the morning to watch the planes fly.  There is an outlook deck and they even have speakers so you can here the control tower talking.  The boys LOVED watching all the planes.  It was a chilly day but it didn't seem to bother them.  We met Brycen our neighbor there and they spent the time digging in the sandbox.

Coco

Thomas got to bring Coco his class pet home for the weekend.  He was very excited and brought him everywhere and slept with him at night.

Dr. Seuss' Birthday

Aniela celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday at school and made cat in the hat hats and cat whiskers.
