We headed to Buffalo Lanes to bowl with the kids.  They had a great time!

Thomas' Preschool Graduation

Thomas graduated from preschool ... sniff sniff.  They had a fun celebration at the park.  Each kid told the teacher where they were going to live and what they were going to be when they grew up and then they read them at the ceremony.  Thomas is going to live with his mom and be an accountant.

Aniela's 7th Birthday Party

We celebrated Anielas birthday at Klaystation.  The girls painted pottery, had snacks and ate cake! 

Baseball

Thomas and Aniela are both playing baseball this season.  Thomas is playing tee ball and Aniela is playing coach pitch.  Dave is coaching both teams.  They both are really enjoying playing and learning about baseball.

Aniela turns 7!

Not sure how 7 years can go by in the blink of an eye!  My sweet baby has turned into a young lady.  Aniela is a conscientious, sweet and loving person.  She helps me out so much and is good to her brothers (most of the time).  She continues to love arts and crafts whether it is drawing, coloring, creating or cutting and pasting.  

Aniela looks like such a big kid now that her front adult teeth are in.  She loves school and playing with her friends.  She has changed so much in first grade and soaks up everything the teacher says.  She is playing baseball this season and wants to start tennis.  She loves to be outside running, biking or scootering.  

    

Student Led Conferences

Aniela led her conference for the second half of first grade.  We loved listening to her tell us about what she was learning and working on.  She shared writing samples, read us a book and demonstrated some math skills.

Music and Movement

We had a chance to go participate in Thomas' Music and Movement Class.  He has been talking about their Brown Bear animals for weeks.  He was a white dog!

Mother's Day

We headed to Vollmer Farm for our annual mother's day strawberry picking with the Midhas.  It was unseasonably hot for May but the kids still loved eating ... I mean picking strawberries.

Mother's Day Tea with Thomas

St. Andrews always does a great job for the Mother's day tea.  The teachers and staff make us feel so special.  The 4's and PreK class same some songs for us followed by refreshments in the Fellowship Hall.  It was decorated like Dr. Seuss "The Places You Will Go".  

Stitches ... Again!

Stitches again for this little guy!  He was walking in the hallway and tripped on a pillow and split his chin.  He was tough at urgent care although it was a bit more stressful to get them on his chin than his forehead.  But he persevered! 

Grandma and Pop visit

Grandma and Pop came for a short visit.  Grandma even got a foot massage from Aniela!

Thomas Birthday Party

We had Thomas' party at Gym Carolina.  He loves gymnastics especially the jumping, bouncing and running part of it.  He loved having his preschool friends celebrate with him.
