Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

On Halloween night we headed to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's party and trick or treating.  Aniela and Thomas decided to go in their pajamas as pj people and Sammy went as a dog.  Dave and I decided to join in and we were quite comfy!  A lot of the villains were out and the regular characters were dressed up.  It was a fun nights and we ended up with lots of candy to eat!!

We also got to preview the new Fantasyland expansion!! They built Belle's castle and a ride for Ariel.

Animal Kingdom

We headed to Animal Kingdom for the morning. The kids enjoyed the safari and we saw a lot of animals.  We went first thing and all the animals were out!  We also saw the Lion King show and it was quite the spectacle.  I am always amazed at the performers at Disney.

We spent the day exploring and enjoying Hollywood Studios.  All 3 kids love Cars 2 so the highlight of the day was finding Mater and McQueen.  They would of stood there all day if we let them!  Sam cried when we pulled him away from McQueen.  We also had lunch with Handy Manny, Jane from Little Einsteins, Special Agent OSO and Jake the pirate.  Thomas loved seeing the characters at lunch but was still leery of approaching them.

Magic Kingdom

First full day in Disney and of course we headed straight to Magic Kingdom!  The kids loved Dumbo, the teapots, Winnie the Pooh and Small World.  We also had lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle.  It was fun to meet all the princesses and see the girls' faces light up!

Here we come DISNEY!!

We are off to Disney to spend Halloween trick or treating with Mickey!  I have way to many great pictures so I thought I would just post per day.  We flew out of Raleigh and the kids were very excited to be flying through the clouds.  Unfortunately, Hurricane Sandy was traveling north so part of our flight was going through that.  But we made it safe and sound.  After we checked in and looked around the Contemporary we headed to Chef Mickey's to meet Mickey, Donald, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto!

The Arwoods and the Midhas were with us at Disney.  So fun to see even the big kids excited about the characters.

Last Soccer Game

The kids had their last soccer game and afterwards received a medal.  They had a fun season and enjoyed playing with our neighbor Brycen.  

Cowboys vs Panthers

We had a chance to get some last minute tickets to the Cowboy vs. Panther game in Charlotte.  Of course, Dave jumped at the chance to see his beloved Cowboys.  We left Sam with the Proffitts for the day and headed to Charlotte with Thomas and Aniela.  The weather was great and it was very fun to be there.  Thomas loved the game and Aniela loved the cheerleaders.

Vollmer Farms

We headed to Vollmer Farms for our 4th Annual Fall trip with the Midhas.  The kids really love the farm and we love watching them run free.  On the farm, we took a hayride, saw some farm animals, played in the corn crib, went through the corn maze, rode the bullet train, jumped on the bouncer and went down the tunnel slide.
