Hurricanes Game

We headed to the Hurricanes game to take in some hockey.  Thomas loved watching his friend Ian's dad play for the Canes.

Sam's 3rd Birthday

We celebrated Sam's third birthday at Baileywick Park!  He wanted cookie monster cupcakes so we made it the theme :)  He loved playing with friends, eating his cupcakes and opening his presents.

He is growing up too fast for me.  He is becoming such a big boy and can't believe he is not a baby anymore.  At the doctor he was 38 pounds (95%) and 40 inches (95%) our biggest three year old by 2 pounds!  Hard to believe he was so small between 4-9 months that he wasn't even on the chart, guess he showed them! 

He loves to talk and tell all kinds of stories (most that don't make any sense :)) and will do anything Thomas does.  He idolizes his big brother and copies every word and action he sees him do.  He loves to run and play outside.  He loves to eat especially peanut butter sandwiches.  

It will be fun to watch him go out on his own and head to preschool in September! 

Gram

We laid my beloved Gram to rest today in Moscow, PA.  She was buried on top of my grandpa at Fairview Memorial Park.  I certainly feel like my childhood is gone.  I loved staying over her house when we were growing up.  She let us sleep with her even though she had the coldest feet it was such a treat.  She taught my rummy, how to make a perfect soft boiled egg, how to be confident in myself at a time that I struggled and so many more life lessons.  She was witty and sharp and had the best sense of humor and loved everything Irish.  Most perfectly, her viewing was on St. Patricks Day and we all wore green.  I will miss her dearly but count myself blessed that she met all my children.  

High School Musical

Aniela, Maddie, Grace and I went to Durant Road Theater to see Sterling's perform in their production of High School Musical.  It was a great show and he did an awesome job!

Gym Class

Sam is taking a gym class with Ms. Bethany once a week in March.  He loves all the equipment and listens to her directions.  He learned how to make a bridge and a  table.

Exciting week at Preschool for Thomas

Thomas was excited for this week of preschool! He was the child of the week, Tuesday was pirate day, he got to bring Korky the Kangaroo home for a night and his friend Emma was coming home with us for a play date at the end of the week.  He could hardly stand the excitement!
